HOW DOES MY DEPARTMENT BENEFIT?
Besides being able to give a gift to the alumnus that is back on campus,
the information that we collect will be freely given to the departments.
At the end of the year, if you want to know how many alumni came
back and participated in some sort of presentation, we would share that
information with you. It all depends on how much your department
takes advantage of the program.
WHAT TYPES OF GIFTS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ALUMNUS?
We have a wide range of gifts based on the type of presentation: from a
bag of chocolates to a tie or scarf. We are always looking for different
ways to express our appreciation to our engaged, devout alumni.
WHAT DOES ALUMNI RELATIONS GET OUT OF THIS?
We would like to start recognizing alumni that are giving back in any way
possible. We feel that alumni that participate in class presentations,
lecture series and other presentation formats is an area that we are
not keeping track of. By submitting this information, we will be able to truly
extend appreciation and gage how much an alumnus is giving back to the
university in ways that do not have to do with donations of money.
HOW OFTEN CAN A DEPARTMENT PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?
We encourage your department to take advantage of the program as often
as you would like. However, we do not want to replace any program or
appreciation gift that you are planning for yourself. Just think of this as an
additional opportunity to express appreciation to those that you typically
do not have the opportunity to recognize.
